Hadaway specializes in providing high-quality forged metal products tailored to the specific requirements of various industries, including, mining, rail, water, power generation, construction, agriculture and many others. They are currently looking for hardworking and dedicated Fitter to join their team. Duties and responsibilities will include: Accurately read and interpret drawings and specifications. Operate machines to produce parts by turning, threading, milling, shaping, slotting, grinding or drilling metal stock or components. Machining and Lathe jobs Set up machines to the specifications required for each job making sure all safety requirements are in place Assist in equipment maintenance, repair, upgrades and installations. Perform scheduled inspections and condition assessments on machines. Complete tasks to high quality while working to a deadline. Perform Quality checks on finished parts to ensure measurements and tolerances are correct Skills and Experience: Relevant trade qualification At least 2 years’ work experience Have a strong adherence between OH&S and in keeping a safe workplace.
