We’re partnering with a market-leading organisation to secure a Canberra based , Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of New vertical Transport Equipment and Modernisation projects across NSW/ACT. This is a fast-paced, multi-faceted role where you’ll sit at the centre of project delivery — coordinating stakeholders, managing contracts, and keeping projects moving. Key Responsibilities Support Project Managers across project delivery, cost control, and scheduling Manage contracts, purchase orders, variations, and procurement activities Monitor project costs including freight, storage, and supplier spend Track equipment logistics and material deliveries (local & international) Assist with progress claims, invoicing, and project financials Identify and manage commercial risks, scope gaps, and variation opportunities Coordinate project documentation across platforms such as Aconex and Procore Support project close-out, handover, and compliance requirements Liaise with internal teams, subcontractors, and external stakeholders About You Bachelors Degree or relevant Diploma in Project Management, Engineering, construction, engineering Experience in project coordination, contracts administration, or project support Background and interest in construction, engineering, building services, or infrastructure Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage competing priorities Highly organised with excellent attention to detail Confident communicator who can engage across all levels Experience with systems like JDE, Aconex, Procore (or similar) is advantageous What’s in it for you?
