Sheet Metal Duct Installer Canberra, ACT / Gundaroo, NSW $35–$45 per hour Super (depending on experience) Full-time | Immediate Start Available About the Role We’re looking for an experienced Sheet Metal Duct Installer to join a growing team. This is a full-time, on-site role based across Canberra, ACT and Gundaroo, NSW. You’ll be responsible for assembling and installing sheet metal ductwork in line with project requirements and industry standards, while maintaining a high level of workmanship and safety. Key Responsibilities Installation of sheet metal ductwork and HVAC systems Measuring, cutting, and assembling duct components Reading and interpreting plans, drawings, and specifications Liaising with builders and other service contractors for on-site coordination Working independently and as part of a team Guiding junior team members and sharing trade knowledge Ensuring all work complies with safety and building regulations Requirements Minimum 6 years’ experience in sheet metal duct installation or similar trade Ability to work independently and problem-solve on the go Strong understanding of mechanical services and equipment installation Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings Experience with site measures and installation processes Strong commitment to safety protocols and construction practices Physically capable of lifting and handling materials as required White Card (Construction Induction Card) Relevant training certificates (Silica, Asbestos awareness, etc.) Reliable transport and willingness to work on-site in Gundaroo, NSW Own tools preferred EWP ticket advantageous
