About The Opportunity Bolton Clarke is seeking a Financial Accountant to join our Finance team in a Full-time permanent capacity. Reporting to the Manager, Financial Accounting, you’ll support the delivery of accurate financial reporting and compliance across the organisation. This role is ideal for an early to mid‑career accountant looking to build strong technical foundations in a large, purpose‑driven organisation. You’ll be involved in month‑end processes, asset and WIP accounting, and audit support, while gaining exposure to a broad and collaborative finance environment within the aged care sector. Key Activities: Manage the Group’s fixed asset register, including acquisitions, disposals, transfers and depreciation. Monitor Work in Progress (WIP), ensuring timely capitalisation on project completion. Support lease accounting in accordance with AASB 116. Prepare and process month‑end journals, including accruals, prepayments and reclassifications. Reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts, including WIP and fixed assets. Assist with statutory reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and external audits. Respond to finance and fixed‑asset related queries from the business. About you: Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline (completed or near completion) Exposure to financial accounting, including assets or reconciliations Strong Excel skills and confidence using Microsoft Office High attention to detail with good analytical skills Well organised and able to manage competing priorities Keen to learn, proactive and adaptable Our culture is supportive and collaborative.
