Sydney Wealth Management Permanent We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join a dynamic team within a specialist Chartered Accounting and Business Advisory firm. About the Role: As a Senior Accountant, you will work closely with managers and senior leadership, supporting a diverse portfolio of business, tax, and financial engagements. You will prepare and review financial statements and tax returns, assist with complex client matters, and provide guidance to junior team members in a collaborative and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities: Supervise, coach, and delegate work to junior accountants Assist with business performance, structuring, wealth, and asset protection matters Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, companies, and SMSFs Prepare and review monthly and quarterly management reports Support the implementation of tax planning strategies Key Skills / Knowledge: Strong technical accounting and tax knowledge (Division 7A, GST, FBT, SMSFs) Experience with complex business structures and engagements Proven ability to supervise and delegate work effectively Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills Understanding of interest rate swaps and derivative swaps is advantageous Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Commerce CA or CPA qualified, or studying towards qualification 3–5 years’ experience in Australian public practice – Ideally working in HNW client accounting Exposure to large business structures and complex engagements Benefits: Hybrid working environment (office work-from-home) Up to 6 weeks’ annual leave Structured career growth and professional development support Opportunity to work on challenging and diverse engagements in a leading private wealth firm This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accountant looking to expand their technical expertise, take on leadership responsibilities, and grow within a collaborative and supportive team.
