Based in the Brisbane CBD the Procurement Lead (Program Manager) provides strategic oversight and leadership of the procurement program pipeline within the Service Infrastructure Planning team, supporting the delivery of a coordinated pipeline of infrastructure projects. The role operates in a technical advisory capacity, ensuring procurement strategies are aligned with service planning priorities, delivery approach, and program sequencing. The role is responsible for managing the forward procurement program and providing specialist advice on procurement and contract management, including contract establishment, administration, and performance oversight. It provides assurance, coordination, and technical direction across planning and delivery interfaces, supported by two procurement support resources embedded within multiple teams. The role works closely with the Procurement Division to ensure consistent governance, compliance, and technical alignment across both portfolios. As a secondary accountability, the role provides oversight and advisory support in the financial management space, including monitoring procurement-related financial controls, SAP transactions, and accrual processes, to support accurate forecasting, reporting, and program governance. The Procurement Lead plays a key role in enabling informed decision-making, managing procurement risks and dependencies, and strengthening collaboration between Service Planning, delivery teams, and central procurement functions.
