My client is needing an experienced Payroll Officer to process the payruns using MicrOpay. On a daily basis your role will involve: Ensuring compliance with relevant Award determinations and legislation Review and input of new employee information and maintain staff databases Assist with the preparation and processing of monthly payroll and ad hoc pay runs Preparation and reconciliation of superannuation payments, payroll tax returns and payment of PAYG tax Preparation and reconciliation of large datasets including payroll audit Review of timesheet information from project costing system Respond to payroll related enquiries from staff Preparation of month end payroll payments Drafting employment contract variation and change letters Support other accounts functions as directed by the Payroll Manager or Financial Accountant To be successful in this role, you must have: Excellent knowledge of MicrOpay Strong attention to detail Excellent communication skills A good team player Ability to manage competing deadlines Hourly rate: $55-$65 per hour If you would like to apply for this role, press on the apply button, or for a confidential discussion, please contact Celine Guillot on 0415 345 587.
