About the company We are partnering with a leading Australian organisation. With thousands of endpoints, complex hybrid infrastructure, and a highly regulated operating environment, they sit at the intersection of critical delivery and enterprise-grade IT. It's an exciting time to join, as the business is investing heavily in maturing its cyber security and identity capability. About the role This is a greenfield opportunity - you won't be inheriting a mature platform. You'll be building governance, frameworks, and standards from the ground up, and owning the outcome end-to-end. This PAM Platform Owner role is a pivotal role within the IAM strategy. You'll be the internal owner of the Privileged Access Management platform - accountable for implementation, stabilisation, compliance, and strategic direction. A vendor will provide technical support, but the platform ownership, stakeholder relationships, and roadmap are entirely yours. Your Responsibilities: Lead platform stabilisation and implementation - the primary focus for the first 6–12 months. Onboard applications onto the PAM platform, working directly with application owners and technical teams. Build and own the governance, compliance, and frameworks architecture for PAM across the enterprise. Drive stakeholder engagement and buy-in across business units - translate technical outcomes into business value. Develop business cases to build reporting lines, support the growth of the team, and secure ongoing investment. Champion the PAM platform internally - be the go-to voice and authority on all things PAM Experience Required: Hands-on CyberArk experience at enterprise scale - not theoretical; you've configured, integrated, and troubleshot it. Strong understanding of legacy environments: Active Directory schemas, legacy authentication, and CyberArk integrations with complex hybrid infrastructure Experience operating in large, high-complexity environments. Deep knowledge of PAM best practices, IAM standards, and how governance and compliance tie directly back to CyberArk capabilities. Proven ability to own and deliver - not just advise. You hold outcomes, not just opinion. If you've grown from technical delivery into owning frameworks and governance, and you're ready to shape a function rather than just fill a role, we want to hear from you. This role starts as an individual contributor, with a clear pathway into leadership as the platform matures. Your delivery in the first 12 months will directly shape that trajectory.
