AYAN InfoTech is looking for Senior Data Test Analyst to join an exciting project based in Melbourne . The role offers you the opportunity to contribute towards an extremely well structured and mature environment, working on sophisticated enhancement projects. Role: Senior Data Test Analyst Location: Melbourne Contract Duration: 6 Months with high possible extensions Experience: 6 Years Note: All applicants must have full work rights in Australia. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead and embed quality practices within Agile (Scrum/SAFe) delivery teams from backlog refinement through to release. Define and execute test strategies, plans, and approach aligned to Agile delivery and continuous testing principles. Perform hands on testing alongside the team, including test design, execution, data validation, and defect analysis. Own end to end data testing including data validation, reconciliation, transformations, integrations, and data migrations. Drive shift left testing, risk based testing, and early defect detection across the delivery lifecycle. Manage test execution, defect triage, test metrics, and release readiness recommendations. Collaborate closely with Scrum Master, Product Owners, Developers, Data Engineers, and stakeholders to ensure quality outcomes. Coach and mentor testers and influence quality ownership across squads without formal authority. Continuously improve test processes, tooling, and data testing practices. Strong experience as a Senior Test Analyst in Agile delivery environments. Deep practical experience in Data Testing and Data Warehouse testing, including: Data validation and reconciliation -ETL/ELT pipeline testing Dimensional data models (facts & dimensions) Historical data, aggregates, and reporting accuracy Strong SQL skills for complex data analysis and validation. Solid understanding of Agile frameworks, ceremonies, and CI/CD ways of working. Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g. Jira, Zephyr or similar). Strong analytical, problem solving, and risk based decision making skills. Excellent stakeholder communication and ability to clearly articulate quality and release risks.
