As an Engineering Lead you will provide leadership, structure, and delivery governance for our core team, coordinating and governing delivery activities across multiple software delivery squads. This role combines programme-level coordination, hands-on project management and structured release oversight. You will join the Curriculum Management team as we embark on a major programme of work to evolve our product. We aim to leverage and extend the capabilities of the existing Curriculum Management Platform while ensuring that we fulfil the vision of enabling TechOne customers to take advantage of a natively integrated suite of Education products. You will be central to ensuring our delivery practices are consistent, transparent, and aligned to business objectives-bringing clarity, governance, and rhythm to complex software delivery environments. What you'll be doing… Working as part of the Curriculum Management Delivery Leadership Group to provide governance leadership and support, project management and delivery oversight. Managing project timelines, dependencies, risks, and milestones across the delivery programme. Coordinating delivery activities/rituals across several delivery squads to ensure alignment and cross-team visibility. Facilitating planning sessions and governance forums. Driving clear communication between engineering teams, product, and senior stakeholders. Work with product and engineering teams to produce delivery reports and status updates for executive audiences. Managing budgets, scope, resourcing forecasts, and overall programme health. Leading and facilitating release planning, scheduling, and coordination across delivery squads Coaching teams on effective delivery, risk management, and governance disciplines. Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team performance and maturity. Your Talents… Strong experience in programme or project management within an agile software delivery environment. Experience in leading technology build and migration projects Proven ability to govern and coordinate across multiple squads or cross-functional teams. Solid understanding of software development lifecycles, release processes, and DevOps practices. Experience delivering structured release management across complex technical environments. Strong facilitation skills with confidence running planning sessions and governance meetings. Excellent communication skills, able to translate technical topics for business audiences and vice versa. Highly organized with strong attention to detail, documentation discipline, and governance mindset. Strong risk management capability and the ability to drive clarity in ambiguous or evolving settings. Comfortable working with senior stakeholders, product managers, engineering leads, and delivery managers. Ability to influence without direct authority and foster a culture of accountability and transparency. Proficiency with project management and delivery tools (Jira, Confluence, MS Project etc.). A collaborative, supportive leadership style with a focus on outcomes and continuous improvement. Experience working in a SaaS, cloud, enterprise software, or multi-squad digital environment (highly valued). Why Join us?
