Site Manager Required | Remediation & Building Works | Initial 7-Month Project in Newcastle, NSW | $120K - $140K Super Car Allowance | Full-Time | About the Role An established engineering and asset remediation contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee an initial major remediation and upgrade project in Newcastle. This is a hands-on leadership role managing a multi-disciplinary scope of works across fire remediation, structural upgrades, and building improvements within an occupied or live environment. You will be responsible for delivering the project safely, on time, and to a high standard, while coordinating subcontractors, trades, and stakeholders on-site. Project Scope The project includes a range of remediation and building works, including: Fire remediation and compliance upgrades Minor building and structural works Sliding door replacement Balcony upgrades and refurbishments Waterproofing and protective treatments Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day site operations from mobilisation through to completion Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades, and suppliers Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards Develop and maintain short-term programs and site schedules Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and safety audits Monitor progress and proactively manage risks and issues Ensure all works meet technical specifications and compliance requirements Maintain accurate site documentation and reporting About You To be successful in this role, you will bring: Proven experience as a Site Manager or Supervisor in construction or remediation projects Strong background in building, refurbishment, or remedial works Experience managing multiple trades and subcontractors Sound understanding of waterproofing, fire damage works, façade, or structural upgrades Excellent knowledge of WHS regulations and site safety practices Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to manage tight timelines and live environments Relevant trade or tertiary qualification What's on Offer Competitive salary package: $120k - $140k Super Car Allowance Opportunity to work on a high-profile remediation project Join a growing, national contractor with strong project pipeline Supportive team environment with career progression opportunities Potential for ongoing work beyond the initial 7-month project Working Hours = 7AM - 3PM, Monday to Friday About the Company This organisation is a leading Australian contractor specialising in asset remediation, engineering, and infrastructure upgrades.
