About the Role Reporting to the General Manager - Construction, the Project Engineer is responsible for the day-to-day delivery and financial performance of assigned construction projects. You will manage multiple projects concurrently, owning planning, coordination, site execution and monthly financial flow, while ensuring all works are delivered safely, to quality standards, and in line with contract scope. Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of 10-20 projects at varying stages Provide support to Project Managers on higher-complexity projects when required Deliver assigned projects to scope, program and budget, meeting safety and quality requirements Manage scheduling, site planning, labour and material coordination Own project financials, contributing to monthly forecasting, WIP and final accounts Process progress claims, variations and purchase orders Develop delivery plans, programs, method statements, SWMS, ITPs and QA documentation Monitor progress against program and take corrective action to mitigate delays or claims Record and track all significant site events in line with contractual requirements Support installation teams to ensure standard details and methodologies are followed Act as the primary point of contact for clients on assigned projects Coordinate internal teams, suppliers and subcontractors to meet project obligations Prepare accurate monthly reports and forecasts for senior management Apply ROT principles across materials, labour and gross profit About You You will be a driven and capable construction professional with: Minimum 2 years' site-based experience as a Project Engineer, or Site Manager Experience with a head contractor or a subcontractor in commercial construction Sound understanding of construction drawings, site coordination and methodologies Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with clients and stakeholders A commercial mindset with growing exposure to cost control and forecasting A proactive, hands-on approach and strong commitment to safety and quality The Offer The successful applicant will receive a salary package commensurate with experience, with a base salary of $100,000 - $110,000, plus Superannuation and a $20,000 Car Allowance.
