Job details Perth CBD Location Monday to Friday Roster Great Opportunity to Support Projects in Western Australia About the Client: Our client is a major government-owned energy provider with a diverse portfolio of generation assets, including thermal, wind, solar, and hybrid systems across Western Australia. Their Generation Business Unit plans and delivers vital construction and infrastructure projects that support the states energy future. About the Role We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Controller to support project delivery within a dynamic project controls environment. In this role, you will assist across all aspects of project administration including scheduling, cost tracking, reporting, and procurement support. Working closely with Project Managers and the wider Project Controls team, you will help ensure projects are delivered in line with governance requirements, timelines, and budgets. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain project schedules, including cost, resources, and baselines Provide regular schedule updates and reporting to Project Managers and Engineers Monitor project progress, deliverables, and resource allocation Support cost tracking, forecasting, and financial reporting across projects Prepare portfolio and project performance reports using systems such as Project Online and Power BI Ensure compliance with project governance, processes, and documentation standards Assist with procurement and contract administration activities Support budgeting processes and portfolio financial planning Maintain oversight of project changes, risks, and issues Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and project teams Provide clear and timely communication across all levels of the business About You Tertiary qualification in Business, Project Management, or similar Minimum 2 years experience in a project environment (5 years preferred) Strong understanding of project lifecycles, methodologies, and change management Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Experience with MS Project, Primavera P6, or scheduling tools Exposure to Project Online and Power BI Background in project controls or portfolio reporting Experience using SAP project modules Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capability Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Commitment to continuous improvement and process adherence Current Australian Drivers Licence How to Apply: Click on the Apply button to submit your application or for more information please contact: WorkPac Principal Consultant: Georgia Guy on(08) 6462 1147 or Georgia.Guy@workpac.com quoting the below reference number.
