Mechanical Design Draftsperson $100,000 - $120,000 Career Progression Benefits Holiday Super Design custom-built, bespoke machinery Do you want to join a growing and well-established equipment manufacturing business that design, manufacture, installat and maintain custom-built conveyor and processing equipment? In this role you will be responsible for producing concept designs through to detailed workshop drawings for a range of bespoke equipment including conveyors, platforms and packaging systems. You will work closely with internal teams across production and sales, as well as liaising with clients and suppliers to ensure designs meet project requirements and quality standards. You will be involved in generating bills of materials, supporting estimating activities and assisting with project delivery from initial concept through to manufacture. Duties: • Mechanical Design Draftsperson • Produce concept designs through to detailed workshop drawings • Create CAD-generated bills of materials for purchasing • Liaise with clients, suppliers and internal teams on design requirements • Assist with continuous improvement of design processes Requirements: • 3 years’ experience in mechanical design / drafting • Proficient in Autodesk Inventor, Solidworks or similar CAD software • Strong AutoCAD drafting capability • Experience designing for fabrication or manufacturing environments If you’re interested just click APPLY for a confidential discussion.
