LANCESOFT PTY LTD is seeking a highly experienced Principal Architect to support ongoing and upcoming enterprise technology projects in Brisbane. This is a senior technical leadership role responsible for enterprise architecture design, QA strategy, test ecosystem architecture, automation frameworks, CI/CD strategy, infrastructure management and executive-level reporting across complex IT environments. The successful candidate will provide strategic and hands-on architectural leadership across multiple technology platforms, working closely with client stakeholders, QA teams, engineering teams and senior executives to deliver scalable, secure and high-performing technology solutions. Responsibilities - Acting as an Enterprise Solution Architect to address broader enterprise technology needs and solve complex problems across multiple platforms. Designing and implementing tool-agnostic and platform-agnostic test ecosystems, including AI-powered dashboards to augment testing, reporting and analysis. Developing CI/CD strategies aligned with client testing cycles. Defining infrastructure management strategies (On-prem/Cloud) for the PAQMan (executive reporting, test result reporting and analysis) dashboard. Developing and customising end-to-end automation frameworks, including OOSD domain library development and best-practice frameworks. Training – VA QA resources on usage of framework / PAQMan – script creation, execution and analysis. Providing hands-on technical leadership in advanced Java with implementation using BDD (Cucumber) - Rest Assured(API), Playwright(Web), Javadriver(Desktop), Appium (Mobile). Working with resources to improve standardised coding practices and leverage properties for automation. Defining the QA Strategy and driving QA best practices across the QA teams and program. Conducting monthly and quarterly business reviews with executives, including program health reporting, roadmap planning and strategic recommendations. To be successful in this role, you will bring: Extensive senior-level experience in enterprise architecture, quality engineering, digital transformation and technology leadership. Strong hands-on expertise in advanced Java and BDD automation using Cucumber. Demonstrated experience with API, web, desktop and mobile automation tools, including Rest Assured, Playwright, JavaDriver and Appium. Experience designing and implementing enterprise test automation frameworks, test ecosystems, reporting platforms and analytics dashboards. Strong experience with CI/CD tools and practices, including Jenkins, TeamCity, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or similar platforms. Experience with cloud and infrastructure management across environments such as GCP, AWS, Docker, Terraform, Ansible and related DevOps/SRE practices. Experience leading QA strategy, testing centres of excellence, automation transformation programs and large distributed technical teams. Ability to engage confidently with senior client stakeholders and executives, including delivery of program health updates, roadmap reviews and business reviews. Strong communication, leadership, mentoring, analytical and problem-solving skills. Relevant tertiary qualifications in information technology, computer science, engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
