About the role Are you passionate about strengthening practice, building capability, and shaping high‑quality services for young people? We’re looking for an experienced and values‑driven Practice Lead to support the implementation and ongoing delivery of our Model of Care across Youth Services in NSW. Reporting to the State Manager, Youth Services , this role plays a pivotal part in embedding consistent, evidence‑informed practice across teams, supporting staff development, and contributing to national practice initiatives. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Redfern, NSW, and is remunerated in accordance with SCHADS Level 7 with potential appointment at SCHADS 8 depending on experience. How you will make an impact Lead and support services to implement the Model of Care and associated frameworks, including developing practice plans and providing reflective practice to leadership teams. Use client voice, risk insights, and service needs to guide practice development and strategy. Provide tailored supervision, coaching, and mentoring to Team Leaders and staff, fostering a culture of learning, transparency, curiosity, and continuous improvement. Build staff capability to work effectively with young people with complex needs, offering clear practice direction and supporting training delivery, planning, and development. Maintain strong communication with the State Manager, contributing expertise to tenders, service model development, and training recommendations. About You What you will bring: Degree qualifications in psychology, social work, or a related field (post‑graduate highly regarded) Minimum 7 years’ experience delivering therapeutic interventions with young people, including at least 3 years in a leadership role Strong understanding of therapeutic frameworks and their application in practice Experience in change management and implementing service models Demonstrated experience delivering reflective practice (group and individual) Understanding of Psychologically Informed Environments (PIE) highly regarded National Police Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain) Current driver’s licence Completion of Code of Conduct, WHS, and Bullying & Harassment training modules Ready to Apply?
