Value Care Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Youth Worker in Sydney. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with at least one year of experience who is passionate about supporting young people to achieve positive outcomes and reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities: - Provide support, guidance, and mentoring to young people in community or residential settings - Assess individual needs and develop tailored support plans - Deliver programs that promote personal development, education, and social inclusion - Support young people in building life skills, resilience, and confidence - Advocate for young people and connect them with appropriate services and resources - Maintain accurate case notes and documentation - Build positive relationships with clients, families, and stakeholders - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic support - Ensure compliance with organisational policies and child protection regulations Requirements: - Certificate IV or Diploma in Youth Work, Community Services, or a related field - Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience working with young people - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to manage challenging behaviours in a professional manner - Empathetic, patient, and non-judgmental approach - Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in youth outreach, residential care, or counselling support - Knowledge of child protection frameworks and youth support services - Current driver’s license and willingness to travel within the community What We Offer: - Competitive salary package - Supportive and inclusive work environment - Ongoing training and professional development opportunities - Career growth within a growing organisation
