Our client is a privately held, high-net-worth family business with a diverse and growing portfolio of mixed-use real estate and private investments. Their holdings include commercial, residential, and commercial/industrial properties, alongside select private equity and alternative asset ventures. They operate with a long-term view, valuing discretion, quality, and strategic growth. This is an exciting opportunity for someone early on in their asset management career to learn all the nuts and bolts of the role and work closely hand in hand with the CEO and owner to make key decisions. Our client is also open to someone who is currently in commercial property management, managing a high net worth/sophisticated portfolio in their current role. Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee a portfolio of mixed-use assets, including residential, commercial, and industrial properties Analyse property performance, budgets, and financial reports; identify opportunities for value enhancement Coordinate with property managers, leasing agents, and third-party vendors to ensure operational excellence Provide regular reporting and strategic recommendations Ensure compliance with local regulations, insurance policies, and risk management practices Lease administration Contribute to broader investment and estate planning discussions, as appropriate What We’re Looking For: Minimum 1-2 years in asset management experience (preferably with mixed-use or multi-asset portfolios) OR 2 - 3 years commercial property management experience with exposure to working with high net worths Motivation to still do the "nuts and bolts" of managing a portfolio as well as the value add asset management Strong financial acumen: ability to read and interpret financial statements and market data Experience working in a family office or boutique investment environment is highly desirable Ability to collaborate and work within a small knit team Proficient in Excel and Xero (preferable) Highly organised, trustworthy, and capable of operating independently What We Offer A close-knit, respectful working environment with direct access to management Enjoy a 4 day working week (WFH 1 day per week an option as well) Opportunity to step into a senior role further down the track Premium office location with end of trip facilities Ready to take the next step in your career?
