Eden Ritchie Recruitment are seeking a Procurement and Contracts Officer to support the delivery of complex ICT procurement activities within a large-scale digital program. In this role, you will take ownership of end-to-end procurement and contracting processes, ensuring outcomes are compliant, well-governed and aligned to program objectives and Queensland Government frameworks. Rate: $93.58 per hour super Location: Brisbane CBD Contract Length: 2 months with possible 2 x 12 month extensions Key responsibilities include: Leading complex, high-risk ICT procurement and contracting activities Managing sourcing, market engagement, evaluation, negotiation and contract establishment Preparing high-quality, audit-ready procurement and contract documentation Supporting governance and probity requirements, ensuring clear and defensible records Coordinating tender evaluation processes including panels, clarifications and reporting Collaborating with project, technical and commercial stakeholders to define requirements and specifications Identifying and contributing to continuous improvement across procurement processes To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate: Experience delivering ICT procurement and contract management activities, ideally within government Knowledge of Queensland Government procurement frameworks, policies and probity requirements Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills Proven ability to produce high-quality procurement and evaluation documentation Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities Ability to quickly understand complex project and technical environments Desirable: Queensland Government Level 3 Procurement Certificate IV in Procurement or relevant tertiary qualifications Experience with ICT procurement frameworks (e.g. QICT) This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a major ICT program while leading complex procurement activities in a high-impact government environment.
