About the role: As the Accommodation Team Leader, you will be responsible for a fully accredited Level III residential supported accommodation facility, housing up to 70 residents with varying needs and levels of support requirements. This is a full-time permanent position from Monday to Friday. The role's overall purpose is to oversee and be responsible for the daily operations of the facility, including occupancy, accreditation, regulation, finances and the building strategic relationships with key stakeholders. You will also be the key contact person for any escalations and emergencies. We are seeking a professional and motivated person with a passion for people to supervise and participate as an effective leader of the Greenslopes House teams. About you: We are seeking a self-motivated, confident, and pro-active individual that possesses an understanding and ability to demonstrate respect, professionalism and compassion within a level III Supported Accommodation environment which provides assistance and support to residents. To succeed, you will need strong negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, particularly in challenging situations. You will be handling relevant documentation, reporting and will require intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office. The ideal candidate will possess: A passion for people and for creating a harmonious and efficient working environment; Experience in working with people who have various life challenges; Experience supervising staff; High personal, professional and ethical standards; An ability and willingness to learn the Residential Services industry, including standards and guidelines; Proven competency in operational planning, strategic and innovative thinking, resource management, and budget management; Outstanding leadership ability; Strong interpersonal/communication skills (written and oral); Current first aid certificate, or ability to obtain; and NDIS Workers Screening Clearance / Police Check - current or ability to obtain.
