Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and capable Carpenter to join our team in this key position. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high‑quality workmanship, supporting daily site operations, and contributing to a safe, efficient, and productive workplace. This role involves working both independently and collaboratively to meet project goals and uphold industry standards across Queensland construction sites. Skilled and experienced labourers with strong carpentry exposure are also encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities: - Perform carpentry duties with accuracy, professionalism, and attention to detail - Support day‑to‑day site operations, ensuring tasks are completed within required timeframes - Follow established procedures, guidelines, and industry best practices - Identify issues, troubleshoot problems, and escalate when necessary - Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting as required - Operate tools, equipment, and machinery safely and effectively - Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold workplace values - Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements Skills & Qualifications: - Cert III in Carpentry or relevant trade qualification - Previous experience in carpentry or a similar construction role - Strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Good communication and interpersonal skills - Strong organisational and time‑management skills - Competence with industry‑specific tools, equipment, and systems Desirable Requirements: - Additional certifications or tickets (e.g., Working at Heights, EWP, confined space) - Experience working in fast‑paced, high‑demand, or specialised environments - Familiarity with workplace safety standards and compliance requirements - Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work environments - Experience in remote, field‑based, or multi‑site work Key Attributes: - Reliable, punctual, and committed to high‑quality work - Strong attention to detail - Positive attitude and willingness to learn - Safety‑focused mindset - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines - Team‑oriented with a collaborative approach
