Industrial Maintenance Electrician – Beef Processing Facility We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Electrician to support the safe and efficient operation of a beef processing facility, including abattoir and processing areas. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and improving electrical and automated systems across the site to minimise downtime and ensure compliance with food safety and workplace regulations.SHIFT COVER: 24th April - 27th April PAY: $65 - $75 Per Hour HOURS: 4am - 2:30pm Key Responsibilities Preventative and reactive maintenance on electrical systems across the facility Diagnose and repair faults on production equipment Support operation and maintenance of conveyor systems, sortation equipment, and packaging lines Conduct electrical installations, upgrades and modifications as required Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals Work in wet, cold, and hygienic environments, including abattoir areas Equipment & Systems Exposure Conveyor systems (belt, chain, overhead rail systems used in carcass handling) Motors, gearboxes and drives (including VSDs/soft starters) PLC systems (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley) Sensors and instrumentation (limit switches, load cells, temperature probes) Pneumatic and hydraulic control systems (basic fault finding) Automated processing and packaging equipment Refrigeration plant interfaces (desirable exposure) Skills & Experience Trade-qualified QLD Electrician Experience in similar food environment (Mandatory) Strong fault-finding skills in electrical and automated systems Experience with PLC fault finding (desirable) Familiarity with conveyors and automated production lines Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team Experience in physically demanding environments (wet, cold, odour, biological materials) Work Environment Abattoir and meat processing facility Exposure to temperature extremes (chilled/freezer areas) Wet and wash down environments How to Apply Click Apply Now to submit your application or send your resume to hannah@spectrarecruitment.com.au or call 0411 523 370
