The Role A vacancy has arisen for a Broiler Serviceperson to join their team to service a pool of contract growers, and to develop a culture of continuous improvement in animal welfare and production efficiency. Only those who have existing work rights in Australia will be considered for this position. Responsibilities Appraise broiler farms to ensure optimal performance; Make recommendations in areas requiring improvement and write corrective action reports; Follow and implement company policies and procedures; Develop a culture of compliance, and continuous improvement; Ensure adherence to biosecurity, welfare, safety, and quality systems. Requirements Previous experience in poultry husbandry, ideally but not necessarily in broiler husbandry; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Strong problem-solving skills together with the ability to influence others, facilitate change and manage conflict; Knowledge of WHS, QA systems and animal welfare; A current driver’s licence. This role may equally suit someone who is currently an experienced poultry serviceperson or an experienced poultry farm manager seeking to advise and mentor others in improving production efficiency. Location Bendigo, Regional Victoria. Remuneration An attractive remuneration package will be negotiated for the successful candidate commensurate with experience. The package will include the use of a company vehicle.
