Personnel & Materials Hoist | Start in 4-6 Weeks We are currently seeking an experienced Hoist Operator for a large, active construction project on the Northern Gold Coast . This role is critical to site operations and requires a strong safety focus, excellent communication skills, and proven reliability. About the Role You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of personnel and/or materials hoist , supporting trades, supervisors and site logistics on a busy construction site. Key Duties Operate personnel and/or materials hoist in accordance with site procedures Conduct daily pre‑start and ongoing safety inspections of hoist equipment Monitor load limits, hoist movements and operating conditions Communicate clearly with ground crew, trades and supervisors Report faults, hazards or operational issues immediately Assist with loading and unloading materials and personnel at multiple levels Maintain inspection logs, records and site documentation Comply with all WHS requirements, PPE standards and site policies Work flexibly across varying shifts including early starts, nights or weekends if required What We’re Looking For Valid Hoist Ticket (Personnel and/or Materials) Current White Card Proven experience operating hoists on construction sites Reliable, punctual and committed to consistent site attendance Professional, respectful and safety‑focused attitude Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team Essential Requirements Experience on medium‑rise or high‑rise projects preferred Fully equipped with required PPE (steel‑cap boots, hard hat, high‑vis, etc.) Fluent English communication skills Ability to assist in general labouring while not on the Hoist in a fast‑paced and dynamic construction environment What’s On Offer Ongoing work on a major Northern Gold Coast construction project Competitive hourly rates Travel allowance daily Supportive site team Potential for long‑term work Apply now with your resume and copies of relevant tickets to be considered for an immediate start.
