Pre-Construction Project Manager - Commercial Fit-Out & Refurbishment | Sydney $150k – $200k Super (DOE) A well-established and growing commercial builder is looking to appoint a Pre-Construction Project Manager to support their front-end project pipeline across fit-out and refurbishment projects, typically ranging from $5m–$20m. This is a key role sitting between Estimating, Bids and Delivery , giving you the opportunity to influence how projects are won and set up — without the day-to-day pressure of running a live site. The Opportunity You’ll take ownership of the non-pricing side of tenders , working closely with Estimators and senior leadership to shape submissions and set projects up for success. This includes: Developing construction methodology and staging Building tender programmes (MS Project) Identifying and mitigating delivery risk Managing RFIs and stakeholder input Supporting value engineering initiatives Leading handovers to delivery teams once projects are secured You’re effectively acting as a Project Manager before the project exists — ensuring it’s buildable, structured and commercially sound from day one.
