The role is multi-faceted: The workload in relation to the number of bids is not manic. This builder works with a select group of clients and their considerable success has been built on an ethos of quality over quantity. They work in partnership a with select group of subcontractors and work closely with all the stakeholders. This approach means that there is space to add value and really pay attention to the detail. The Bid & Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the Director, the estimating and pre-construction teams preparing bids and proposal submissions. In addition, duties will include collating information about incoming tender requests, attending expressions of interest and tender meetings. This role will also involve assisting the Director with the organisation of events, conferences, and training opportunities. Overseeing the creation of marketing materials, site photography, managing corporate image and presentation and other creative projects will be required. For more complex marketing activities you will have an option to outsource when necessary. What skills and attributes are needed? The right person will be bright and enthusiastic with an honest, ethical approach to business. Previous experience of working as a Bid Coordinator is preferable. Advanced skills in InDesign, Power Point, and Microsoft Office Programs A fantastic eye for detail, outstanding written communication skills, and a creative flair The confidence to suggest ideas and initiatives and the ability to train others to assist in the bid management process.
