About the role An NCT tutor is responsible for delivering and leading an array of communication training programs to all types of corporate participants. These includes: 2-hour masterclasses Half-day sessions 1-day session 2-day sessions 1:1 coaching Events and workshop An NCT tutor plays the role of a mentor, guide and source of inspiration for our participants. They continuously aim to exceed their audience's expectations and represent NIDA with passion, professionalism and authenticity. Based on this, the key accountabilities for a tutor are: Leadership and creativity in the classroom Building a safe learning environment that allows a place for growth and a space to experiment with new skills Creating a memorable learning experience that challenges participants and provides skills they bring back to the workplace Demonstration of impact and growth of participants through feedback Providing feedback and insights to NCT on course outcomes and areas of improvement in current offerings Adhere to all WHS requirements of the organisation and relevant associated legislation. Required Experience: At least 3 years drama school training Desired skills: At least 5 years in adult learning facilitation or training experience in: Communications Presenting Leadership Directing Coaching Learning design Desired experience/sector: At least 3 years’ experience working in a corporate setting or relevant industry: Customer service Leadership experience teaching or doing Hospitality Commercial Retail/ Sales Restate Government University Marketing Desirable: Certificate IV Training and Assessment or a degree in adult education
