The successful candidate will play a key role in assessing structural defects, contributing to remedial design solutions, and ensuring works are delivered in accordance with project specifications, Australian Standards, and client requirements. Current Opening: This opportunity is a full-time position (38 hours per week). Position Responsibilities and Tasks Conduct site inspections and technical assessments of structural assets, including analysis of cracking, corrosion, and concrete deterioration Assist in the development and review of remedial methodologies, engineering drawings, and technical documentation in accordance with project requirements Apply engineering principles to support material selection and recommend appropriate repair techniques based on site conditions and structural performance Assist in the preparation of tenders, cost estimates, and engineering submissions by providing technical input and analysis Support the implementation of remedial solutions, including concrete repair, crack injection, structural strengthening, and protective systems Collaborate with Project Engineers, Site Supervisors, and construction teams to ensure works are delivered in accordance with specifications, engineering standards, and safety requirements Monitor site activities, evaluate technical issues, and contribute to practical and cost-effective engineering solutions Prepare technical reports, inspection records, and project documentation to support quality assurance and compliance Ensure all works comply with relevant Australian Standards, codes, and engineering best practices Provide technical input into project planning, construction sequencing, and delivery of engineering outcomes Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent discipline.
