The Opportunity This is an opportunity to join a well-known consumer business operating at scale across ANZ. The organisation is entering a new phase with renewed leadership and a strong pipeline of activity across the next 12–24 months. Legal plays a key role in supporting the commercial side of the business and is closely embedded with stakeholders across multiple teams. The Role Working closely with an approachable General Counsel and Senior Legal Counsel within a well-established team, this role offers broad commercial exposure across the business. Your work will include advising on: drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, including IT, supply and marketing contracts; competition and consumer law matters including campaigns and promotions; operational matters including franchising (experience not essential); day-to-day commercial and regulatory advisory work across the business. This role will suit a lawyer who enjoys working closely with stakeholders and delivering practical commercial solutions in a fast-moving environment. About You You will bring: 5–8 years’ PAE with a strong commercial/contracts background; experience negotiating complex commercial agreements (IT or supply experience helpful); familiarity with competition and consumer law; ideally some in-house or secondment exposure. Equally important is your approach. You are practical, commercially minded and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment while managing competing priorities.
