Lawyer - Commercial & Property About the Firm Our client is a growing and well-regarded commercial law firm based in Brisbane, working closely with SME business owners, property investors, startups, and professionals. They are entering an exciting growth phase and are seeking a capable Associate who wants more than just a support role — this is an opportunity to take ownership of matters and work directly with clients. The Opportunity This is a hands-on role suited to a lawyer with a minimum of 2 years of experience and would like to take ownership, manage files, and build strong client relationships. You’ll gain exposure across: Commercial Law Corporate advisory Business structuring Shareholder & partnership agreements Commercial contracts M&A (shares and business assets) Private and mezzanine lending Property Law Conveyancing Commercial leasing Development-related matters Litigation (Desirable) Some exposure to disputes and litigation (not essential) Key Responsibilities Manage files from commencement through to completion Draft commercial and property-related documents Provide practical, commercially focused legal advice Communicate directly with clients Assist with and progressively take ownership of transactions Support and delegate to junior team members where appropriate About You You are a commercially minded lawyer who enjoys working closely with clients and taking ownership of your work.
