Our team is passionate about helping people stay connected, engaged, and in control of their lives. About the Role We are seeking a Professional Bus Driver to support our Residential Social Program. In this meaningful role, you will safely transport residents to social outing and community events while providing a supportive and engaging experience. Reporting to the Social Team Leader – Residential, you’ll play a key role in helping our customers stay active, connected and engaged in their communities. This is a new role and we have two positions. One position is primarily based in the northeast metro area and the other primarily based in the southwest metropolitan area. The successful candidates will work Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday’s from 9:30am to 3:30pm. Key Responsibilities Customer Experience & Support Deliver a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable experience for residents Provide companionship, conversation, and encouragement during outings Support individuals with mobility needs and diverse abilities Transport & Safety Safely operate 8–12 seat minibuses in line with road laws and policies Assist customers with boarding and exiting vehicles Ensure correct use of seatbelts, restraints, and mobility aids Travel to multiple residential care homes Engagement & Teamwork Work closely with the social team to support planned activities Adapt your approach to meet individual customer needs Support residents living with memory loss or dementia with empathy and care Vehicle & Compliance Conduct daily vehicle safety checks Maintain cleanliness and roadworthiness of vehicles Follow all organisational and regulatory requirements About You You’re a reliable, calm, and compassionate driver who enjoys working with people and making a difference in their day. Essential: Current full driver’s licence (compliant with Australian regulations) Proven safe driving experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills Patient, empathetic, and customer-focused approach Ability to assist passengers with mobility needs National Police Check (or willingness to obtain) Desirable: Experience working with older people or people with disability First Aid & CPR certification Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or similar Experience supporting people living with dementia Why Join Us?
