Working With Children Check Police Check NDIS Worker Screening First Aid & CPR Completion of necessary industry training modules About the Traineeship Part-time traineeship (minimum 24 hours per week ) Approximately 12-18 months , depending on coursework and progression Work at a site in Glen Waverley —shared accomodation and living space for clients that need assistance. Shifts vary: between 7:00am and 10:00pm . Weekend availability and OT offered in future (only if it suits your schedule) Driver’s license, reliable car & insurance needed What You’ll Do Personal Care Assist with bathing, dressing, hygiene, toileting and mobility Help with meals, hydration and food preparation Encourage independence and follow individual care plans Domestic Assistance Light cleaning, laundry, tidying and general household tasks Grocery shopping with/for clients Transport clients to appointments and social outings Social Support Provide companionship and emotional support Support community engagement and daily routines Help clients maintain independence, dignity and wellbeing
