Join the Sunshine Coast Council Civil Works team and take on a hands-on contract role supporting construction, repairs and maintenance across the Maroochydore region. We’re looking for a capable Civil Field Worker (Level 5) ready to work outdoors, work safely and get the job done. What You’ll Be Doing General carpentry, construction and structural repairs Labouring across civil works projects and maintenance sites Building and maintaining bridges, boardwalks and public structures Concreting, including formwork, placement and finishing Installation and repair of kerb, channelling, stormwater drainage and culverts Road construction, patching and general maintenance Maintenance of roadsides, foreshores, reserves and public assets Removal and disposal of debris and waste materials Compliance with safety procedures and WHS requirements What You Bring Experience in civil construction or maintenance Practical carpentry and general construction skills Ability to perform manual labour in outdoor environments Strong safety focus and teamwork skills Current driver’s licence (MR/HR desirable) Construction White Card Extra tickets (excavator, skid steer, traffic control, confined space etc.) highly regarded Apply Now Submit your resume in Word format outlining your skills and experience.
