About the Role We are partnering with a leading Electrical company delivering large-scale industrial projects across Northland. They are currently seeking experienced Industrial Electrical Trade Assistants to join their skilled team on a project based in Ruakākā. This role offers hands-on experience in an industrial environment, with exposure to complex systems and the opportunity to expand into renewable energy projects, including solar installations. Benefits $26–$34 per hour 8% holiday pay KiwiSaver (based on experience and qualifications) Contracting rates available Monday–Friday work with potential weekend opportunities Weekly pay cycle Opportunity for long-term work and career progression Duties Working on large-scale industrial Electrical project Cable tray, ladder installation, and cable pulling Cable termination, first and second fix work Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting industrial electrical systems Assisting with solar installations (where applicable) Ensuring compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations Skills & Experience Minimum 2 years’ experience in an industrial electrical environment EWRB Limited Licence Solar experience (highly regarded but not essential) Valid Site Safe or willingness to obtain Bonus points for the below Certifications: Working at Heights EWP First Aid Fire Extinguisher Full working rights in New Zealand Reliable transport to and from site Culture This team is known for its strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork.
