About the role Reporting to our Business Services Manager, in this role you will be responsible for supporting the day‑to‑day facilities and office operations of our Sydney office. The key responsibilities include: Assist with the day‑to‑day facilities and office operations Respond to facilities requests and escalate issues as required including basic office maintenance, audio visual troubleshooting, updating floorplans Support liaison with building management and external contractors Assist with office maintenance requests and scheduled servicing Help coordinate workstation setups, office moves and meeting room arrangements Monitor and restock office supplies, stationery and amenities Support WHS requirements, including reporting and documentation Assist with fire warden and emergency management processes Maintain facilities records and basic documentation From time to time reception relief and provide general administrative support to the operations team About you You are a dependable and service‑oriented team member who enjoys helping others and keeping things organised. You take pride in your work and are comfortable working in a professional office environment. You will ideally bring: Experience in an office administration, facilities or support role (or a strong interest in developing in this area) Experience in a professional services environment (desirable but not essential) Strong organisational skills and attention to detail A proactive and willing‑to‑learn attitude Good communication skills and a helpful approach Basic understanding of WHS in an office setting (or willingness to learn) Proficient using MS Office Why join Maddocks?
