Generous Superannuation Senior Management Accountant: deliver financial insights, reporting & budgeting, manage risks, support policy, and partner with stakeholders. As our Senior Management Accountant, you will: Provision of customer focused financial management and financial performance information, advice and in-depth analysis, Monitor financial performance against budgets and targets, including identification of financial risks and the provision of recommendations and strategies to mitigate identified risks. Prepare monthly and ad-hoc financial management reports, reconciliations, specific purpose periodic reports, briefing notes, presentations and correspondence on a range of complex financial management, budgeting and forecasting issues. Contribute towards the development and review of financial management policies and procedures that will assist the agency meet its obligations established under the Government’s financial management framework – legislation, guidelines and standards. Ensure that the National Fire Ant Eradication Programs annual budget and budget revisions are accurately reflected in the budget management system and are reconciled with the National Funding allocations. Assist in the preparation of the annual State Budget including the preparation of the budget papers, including Service Delivery Statement, Annual Report, Mid-Year Fiscal and Economic Review, Budget Submissions and briefing notes to the Minister including briefs for the Estimates Committee hearing Maintain and develop positive, constructive and collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders, including business groups, senior management, Queensland Treasury and external service providers. Review systems, processes and practices with the aim of identifying changes that will contribute to the continual improvement of financial management processes and reporting systems. Foster a professional environment which encourages commitment, ethical behaviour, skills development and continuous learning.
