The Senior Advisor, Strategic Workforce Development will manage and deliver strategic workforce projects and programs, providing expert advice to agencies on workforce planning, capability, and leadership initiatives. The role offers opportunities to engage with senior leaders, facilitate workshops, and apply evidence-based approaches to inform workforce strategies across the NSW public sector. The role requires operating in ambiguous and evolving contexts, solving complex workforce challenges, and influencing outcomes across the sector. Strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work collaboratively and maintain a focus on emerging workforce trends. We're Looking For Strategic Workforce Expertise: Experience in workforce strategy, workforce planning, capability or leadership development, with the ability to design and deliver initiatives that address complex, future-focused workforce challenges. Project Delivery: Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end projects or programs, with the ability to deliver outcomes in dynamic environments and adapt to shifting priorities. Stakeholder Engagement and Influence: Strong ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders, including senior leaders, to support workforce initiatives and drive shared outcomes. Facilitation and Communication: Confident communicator with experience facilitating workshops, leading discussions and presenting insights, translating complex information into clear and engaging messages. Analytical and Insight-Driven Thinking: Ability to interpret workforce data and trends, identify emerging issues, and develop practical, evidence-based solutions that inform decision-making.
