Responsibilities of the role Craft and engineer ideas for a Social Events calendar by assessing the needs and goals of our clients. Promoting the activities with the client cohort and providing support and encouragement to effectively participate in recreational activities. Providing logistical solutions for actualisation of the social calendar Encouraging client participation in events that are organised to prevent isolation and encourage social interaction. Creating a sense of excitement and community spirit within the client base Taking full ownership over the process including logistical organisation and client queries. Being resourceful with community facilities and services to create the best experience for our clients Being present at all social activity events and creating a welcoming, warm and safe environment for all clients Having flexibility in working hours as the social activities calendar dictates. Ability to work in a very busy environment and to work both independently and as part of a team to follow appropriate referral pathways to ensure that needs and goals that are beyond the scope of the role are referred to the appropriate parties. Excellent planning, organisational, analytical and decision-making skills. Ability to professionally represent our brand and our services at meetings and events. Criteria Desirable qualifications include: Minimum 2 years' throughout; Aged, Community or Disability care Community development or Event Management Certificate or equivalent education in event management and/or the aged care sector First Aid Certificate Valid Driver's Licence Police Clearance
