About the Position: As an Early Childhood Teacher at LEELC Arncliffe Pty Ltd, you will play a central role in fostering the holistic development of children through high-quality educational programs and caring interactions. This full-time position involves planning and delivering engaging indoor and outdoor learning experiences in alignment with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS), while ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of every child. Working within our small, close-knit team, the Early Childhood Teacher helps create a nurturing space that supports family partnerships and contributes to positive developmental outcomes for the children in our care. Key Responsibilities: Designing and organising educational activities across indoor and outdoor settings using diverse resources to support children’s developmental outcomes Delivering engaging learning experiences to enhance physical coordination, social interaction, self-confidence, and cognitive growth Encouraging communication and language development through guided discussions, imaginative play, music, storytelling, and group activities Monitoring and assessing children’s development and wellbeing, recognising any potential health, behavioural, or emotional concerns Maintaining children’s health, safety, and welfare, including overseeing nutritional needs and a clean, healthy learning environment Liaising with parents and caregivers regarding children’s progress, development, and wellbeing Participating in parent consultations, team meetings, and contributing to family engagement initiatives Providing guidance and support to student educators and trainees on placement Demonstrating strong leadership and effective communication in all aspects of the role Requirements : Australian citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply. Bachelor in Early Childhood degree. Minimum 1 year experience as an Early Childhood Teacher. Current Working with Children Check. Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certificates. Strong understanding of the Children’s Services Regulations, Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS). Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Experience in program planning, child observation, and creating interest-based learning experiences. Adaptable, enthusiastic, and passionate about providing high-quality early childhood care and education. Availability to work full-time.
