Position Overview We are seeking a passionate Chef to join our foundation team. In this role, you’ll design and prepare nutritious, child-friendly meals that meet dietary requirements, while fostering healthy eating habits. A Food Safety Supervisor certificate is mandatory for this role. This is a unique opportunity to have a meaningful impact in a brand-new centre, supporting children’s wellbeing through food, while being part of a collaborative and passionate team. Responsibilities Plan and prepare fresh, nutritious meals and snacks for up to 96 children daily. Cater to dietary needs, allergies, and cultural preferences. Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen organisation. Collaborate with educators to promote healthy eating and nutrition education. Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members. Order, manage, and rotate stock efficiently. Qualifications and Skills Experience as a Chef/Cook, ideally in childcare, school, or similar environment. Food Safety Supervisor certificate (mandatory). Strong knowledge of nutrition for children. Excellent organisational and time-management skills. Positive, team-focused attitude with commitment to children’s wellbeing.
