Position Summary The Human Resources Coordinator is an integral part of the Human Resources Department. The individual is responsible for providing administrative and coordination support to the department, including responding to general employee and applicant enquiries, maintaining employment records, and assisting with employee events and initiatives. The Human Resources Coordinator handles every task with integrity and confidentiality. This highly visible role also provides clerical and administrative support to the Human Resources team. The Role Handle and direct employee enquiries, and any other general enquiries in a professional manner, including telephone enquiries. Assists in recruitment activities, supporting the recruitment and selection process in line with hotel guidelines and a competency-based framework. Assist with onboarding of new employee starters. Ensures a strong professional relationship with all levels of associates within the hotel, taking an active interest in their safety and development. Maintain and coordinate all noticeboards and the electronic platforms, liaising with the Human Resources team. Assist the Human Resources Department with the compilation and implementation of all employee communication, committees, and engagement initiatives. Prepare reports and assist with providing accurate information when requested by Human Resources or other department heads. To assist in the preparation of PowerPoint presentations, handouts, registers and other resources used in employee meetings or training as required. Talent Profile Tertiary education in Hospitality or Human Resources related. Familiar with HRIS (Zambion). 1-2 years in a Human Resources Role or related field. Hotel Operations experience highly preferred. Highly organised with excellent people skills. Passionate about the hotel and hospitality industry.
