As an Insurance Data Officer, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of ART’s insurance data. The role supports effective insurance operations by executing data quality controls, performing expert insurance data analysis, and contributing to the identification, investigation, and remediation of insurance incidents. Day to day, you'll: Monitor and run insurance data checks across systems, spotting issues early and making sure member data stays accurate and reliable. Investigate data anomalies and incidents, using analysis and evidence to understand what went wrong and help fix it. Correct and remediate insurance data (cover, premiums, historical records), ensuring changes are accurate, traceable, and audit-ready. Analyse insurance data to identify impacted members and validate cohorts for incidents, remediation, and reporting. Work closely with specialists, operations teams, and governance forums by providing clear data insights, documentation, and test evidence to support decisions and assurance activities. You bring solid analytical capability, using data (including SQL) to investigate issues, validate outcomes, and support sound, evidence-based decisions. You’re comfortable working in regulated or high-risk environments, with an appreciation for audit standards, documentation, and doing things the “right” way. You enjoy problem-solving in complex systems, can connect data, processes, and controls, and remain calm when working through incidents or remediation activity. You communicate clearly and professionally, able to explain data findings and impacts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You’re proactive and improvement-focused, looking for ways to strengthen controls, reduce repeat issues, and contribute to better member outcomes.
