About the Role At the centre of a high‑performing Supply Chain is the ability to turn data into action. As Performance & Insights Manager, you’ll shape how insight, analytics, and performance intelligence enable smarter, faster decision‑making across our supply chain operations. This 14‑month max‑term contract, created as parental leave cover, offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in a strategic leadership role. You’ll define and execute the data and performance agenda—bringing together advanced analytics, business intelligence, and predictive modelling to unlock meaningful insights. By enabling leaders with clear, actionable intelligence, you’ll play a critical role in improving operational efficiency, strengthening financial outcomes, and supporting sustainable business growth through data‑driven innovation. Your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Developing and executing a comprehensive data and performance strategy that aligns with business objectives. Developing and deploying data models, business intelligence tools, machine learning models and AI-driven solutions to optimize supply chain performance and provide meaningful insights. Overseeing the enhancement of executive dashboards and real-time reporting tools in Power BI. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align data strategies with business priorities. Leading and mentoring a team of analysts and data professionals, fostering a high-performance culture, as well driving capability development within the analytics function to keep pace with industry trends. This role offers the flexibility to be based in Brisbane (Strathpine, preferred location), Sydney (Rhodes), or Melbourne with a hybrid work model. About you You’re a confident connector who thrives at the intersection of supply chain, commercial, and finance teams, enabling integrated and informed decision‑making. Comfortable engaging with a wide range of stakeholder groups, you communicate effectively across all channels—whether face‑to‑face or digitally. You bring a strong balance of technical capability and people leadership, allowing you to translate complex insights into action while guiding and supporting teams to deliver meaningful outcomes. In addition, you have proven experience in the following: A data science or pure maths commercial role, applying data science methods to business problems Working with complex data sets and data relationships from multiple sources Creating simple visualisations from complex data sets, matching visualisation style to data types and dimensions Leading technical teams, ideally data engineers or scientists, in delivering a business service Working with modern ETL and visualisation tools, preferably with experience in Alteryx and PowerBI, as well as SQL A qualification in Data Science, Engineering or Mathematics Highly desirable: Industry experience in Supply Chain, Warehousing or Logistics WHY JOIN US?
