About the role We’re looking for a driven Project Manager (substations) to lead capital works across all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. In this role, you’ll support the coordination and delivery of complex, multi-stakeholder projects within the construction, energy, or utilities sector. Working closely with senior leaders, you’ll gain exposure across planning, delivery, and close-out activities while developing your capability in end-to-end project management. Key Responsibilities Support delivery of capital projects across the full substation construction project lifecycle Assist with scope changes, variation requests, schedules, budgets, and forecasts Maintain project plans in Microsoft Project, tracking timelines and dependencies Contribute to financial reporting including budgets, cash flow, and cost tracking Support risk and issue identification, mitigation, and reporting Prepare monthly project status updates and ad-hoc reporting Assist with contractor coordination, procurement, and contract administration Help ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver outcomes Contribute to continuous improvement and process optimisation initiatives You’ll play a key role in coordinating multidisciplinary projects across diverse stakeholders, locations, and priorities, ensuring smooth execution and strong customer outcomes. You’ll also help manage subcontractors, support resource planning, and contribute to maintaining high safety and quality standards. About You Diploma in Project Management or Bachelor of Engineering (or equivalent) White Card (Construction Induction) 3 years’ experience in construction, energy, utilities, or similar industry Strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills Familiarity with project scheduling, budgeting, and reporting tools This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build depth in capital project delivery within a fast-paced and critical infrastructure environment.
