About the Role Our client, SEC Business Group Pty Ltd is seeking experienced Rubber Production Machine Operators to support its growing conveyor, rubber production, and industrial services operations. This role involves operating and monitoring machinery used in the manufacture, processing, and preparation of rubber products in accordance with safety, quality, and production requirements. The position is hands-on and suited to candidates with experience in industrial rubber production environments. Key Duties and Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to: Operating, setting, and regulating rubber production machinery and equipment Loading, measuring, and mixing raw materials and compounds according to production specifications Operating rubber moulding, extrusion, vulcanising, curing, and finishing equipment Monitoring machine performance and adjusting controls to maintain product quality Inspecting finished rubber products to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards Identifying faults, defects, or equipment issues and reporting them appropriately Performing basic maintenance and cleaning of machinery and work areas Maintaining production records and documentation as required Complying with workplace health and safety policies, procedures, and standards at all times Working effectively as part of a production and operations team Relevant Specialisations Applicants with experience in one or more of the following areas are encouraged to apply: Rubber Compounder Rubber Extrusion Machine Operator Rubber Liner Rubber Belt Splicer Skills, Qualifications, and Experience To be considered for this role, applicants should demonstrate: At least 2 years' relevant experience in rubber production, processing, or a related industrial manufacturing role Experience operating industrial machinery in a production environment Ability to follow technical instructions, production schedules, and safety procedures Good attention to detail and quality control Physical fitness suitable for manual and machine-based work Ability to work shifts and overtime when required Basic literacy and numeracy skills for record keeping and reporting Strong commitment to workplace safety Formal trade qualifications are desirable but not essential if equivalent practical experience is demonstrated.
