Spire Recruitment is working with a high-performing real estate office in Melbourne’s east to appoint a Property Manager Associate. This role is perfect for someone who wants to start in inspections and support, learn the ropes properly, and then step into a full Property Manager portfolio within 6–12 months. The opportunity: Based in Melbourne's Eastern Suburbs, you’ll split your time between being an Inspections Agent and providing property management assistance to support portfolios while team members are on annual or sick leave. You’ll gain exposure to the full tenancy lifecycle while being coached by an experienced PM team, setting you up to confidently move into your own portfolio. Key responsibilities include: Conducting routine inspections and detailed entry condition reports Assisting with open-for-inspections (Monday–Friday and optional paid Saturdays) Providing support to Property Managers when they are on leave (phone and email communication, admin, follow-up) Liaising with renters, landlords and trades in a professional and timely manner Using PropertyMe to update notes, generate reports and maintain accurate records Supporting the broader team with general property management tasks as needed About you: You may be new to property management or have some experience in real estate, hospitality, customer service or admin and now want a clear pathway into a Property Manager role. You’re organised, switched on and enjoy being out on the road as well as in the office. You will ideally have: A current Agent’s Representative Certificate (or in progress) Strong customer service skills and a professional phone manner Good attention to detail, especially in documentation and reporting Confidence using technology and learning new software (PropertyMe experience ideal but not essential) A current Driver’s Licence and reliable car A positive attitude, willingness to learn and genuine interest in a long-term career in property management Salary, benefits & incentives Base salary from $55,565.12 per annum super (higher considered for experience) Fuel card valued at $7,000 per year (up to $583.33 per month) Optional Saturday open-for-inspections (half day) paid on top of salary Access to a letting pool for Saturday work, providing additional commission opportunities $250 bonus for successful referrals to the BDM (listed and leased) $250 “Sales (Existing PM) Referral” commission for settled sales Additional “Sales Referral Commission” equal to 5% of the sales commission for properties you personally introduce that result in a settled sale Why this role?
