You’ll take ownership of the entire sales function across a multi-franchise dealership operation, including new vehicles, used cars and finance. Working closely with the Dealer Principal and senior leadership team, you’ll be responsible for driving performance, improving gross, and implementing consistent sales processes across the business. This is a hands-on leadership role where your presence on the floor, engagement with customers, and ability to coach and develop your team will directly influence results. The business is already performing at a solid level in terms of volume, however there is a clear opportunity to improve gross per unit, strengthen finance performance, and bring greater structure and consistency to the sales process. You’ll be the person responsible for making that happen — leading from the front, supporting your team daily, and creating a culture of accountability and performance without relying on a dictatorial leadership style. This role exists because of growth. The Dealer Principal is currently heavily involved in the day-to-day sales operation, and with multiple sites now operating and further expansion planned, there is a need for a dedicated General Sales Manager to take ownership of the sales function. You’ll work closely with an experienced General Manager and maintain regular communication with the Dealer Principal, while having the autonomy to run and improve the department.
