Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, this is a critical role within the Sales & Marketing team, balancing the retention of key existing accounts with the active development of new business opportunities across the region. This role suits a relationship driven sales professional who understands regional markets, values long term partnerships, and is comfortable operating across depots, customers, and internal stakeholders. About the Role The Sales Manager is accountable for delivering sustainable revenue growth, margin improvement, and customer satisfaction across a defined regional portfolio. You will work closely with depot teams, operations, safety, and credit to deliver practical, commercially sound solutions for customers while strengthening Lowes' presence in local communities. Key responsibilities include: Managing and growing an established portfolio of SME and larger regional customers Identifying and developing new business opportunities through structured sales planning and CRM pipeline management Building strong internal relationships to ensure positive customer outcomes across operations, safety, and logistics Providing professional customer service both face to face and via phone Managing customer complaints in line with company policy Actively promoting fuels and lubricant products as part of depot based sales activity Reviewing pricing and managing OPT sales (where applicable) in conjunction with the Area Sales Manager Supporting local marketing, branding, and promotional initiatives Reporting on customer needs, market trends, competitor activity, and growth opportunities Managing safety, credit, and contractual risk within the portfolio. About You You are a commercially astute sales professional who enjoys autonomy, accountability, and building trust based relationships. You are comfortable working across regional territories, engaging with a broad customer base, and influencing outcomes.
