This role is with a respected fire protection contractor with an established vehicle fire suppression team delivering installation, service and maintenance work throughout WA. The position supports installation led suppression works with some service and maintenance across varied client environments. Strong client relationships and ongoing requirements provide technicians with dependable workflow and a structured operating environment. You will join an experienced field team responsible for installation, inspection and fault finding across vehicle fire suppression systems. The position offers genuine scope to strengthen technical capability, expand exposure to varied suppression systems and step into Leading Hand responsibilities based on demonstrated performance. The Opportunity Support delivery of installation activities together with reactive service and maintenance across vehicle fire suppression systems. The role provides autonomy in managing daily priorities while contributing within a team focused on safe delivery, dependable standards and consistent client outcomes. You will also have the opportunity to take ownership of coordination activities and apprentice support as capability is demonstrated. Key Responsibilities Installation, inspection and maintenance of vehicle fire suppression systems. Fault finding, repairs and system upgrades. Survey equipment and recommend appropriate fire protection solutions. Maintain accurate service documentation and compliance reporting. Build effective working relationships across client environments. Support mentoring of apprentices and junior technicians. Contribute to efficient delivery of scheduled service activities. About You Demonstrated experience working with vehicle fire suppression systems. Working knowledge of relevant Australian Standards. Certificate II in Fire Protection Inspection and Testing well regarded. Ability to work autonomously while supporting team delivery outcomes. Capability to support Leading Hand responsibilities well regarded. Strong organisational skills and commitment to safety and customer service. Current WA driver's licence. Flexibility for site based or occasional away work where required. Full, unrestricted and ongoing Australian working rights.
