The Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture (RRJV) is a 50/50 joint venture between CPB Contractors and Downer to undertake major upgrades and replacement of existing infrastructure and facilities to support Defence capability for the next 30 years. This role will oversee building construction works delivered by an external Building Contractor, ensuring all works are executed in accordance with RRJV safety, quality and delivery systems. You will take ownership from tendering through to commissioning and handover, playing a key role in delivering complex Defence infrastructure outcomes. What you'll do Manage building construction packages delivered by an engaged Building Contractor Ensure works are delivered in line with RRJV safety, quality and governance systems Develop scopes of works and manage tendering of building packages Resolve design, constructability and interface issues throughout delivery Oversee quality control, commissioning and handover / takeover (HOTO) processes What you'll bring Proven experience delivering commercial building projects as a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer Demonstrated capability managing head contractors and subcontractors Experience developing scopes of work and supporting tender evaluation Strong understanding of safety, quality and compliance frameworks on major projects Engineering qualification (or equivalent experience); client-side Project Management experience regarded This role is based at Wagga Wagga.
